We have helped to save landmark buildings ranging from St Pancras in London to the Albert Dock in Liverpool. Our Conservation Advisers help local planning authorities and churches to make better decisions about adapting Victorian and Edwardian buildings to the way we live now, while keeping what is special about them.

Our campaigning has helped improve attitudes since the 1960s – but the battle to save Victorian and Edwardian buildings is far from over. Even in the 21st Century they continue to be demolished, neglected or altered beyond recognition. At a time when the whole of the planning system is being rewritten, with protection for our precious Victorian and Edwardian buildings threatened, our campaigns are more important than ever.
We cannot continue our work without members’ support through their fees.
